Waterphotography course
Are you new to photography and drawn to the water like a magnet?
Not sure if investing in a waterhousing is the right move for you?
Are you an experienced photographer looking for a new creative challenge?
I have over ten years of experience shooting in the water. I have worked as a photographer for the Alaïa Bay wavepool in Switzerland, shooting with the best surfers in the world.
Learning about waterphotography takes time. A lifetime I would say. But we can of course start with the basics. The amount of time this will take depends on your previous experience in photography. If you start from zero, it will take some 3 sessions of 2 hours to get started and to give you a good impression of what’s involved with waterphotography. If you are a more experienced photographer we could get started with 2 sessions for instance.
What is included?
Use of camera and waterhousing
Pdf file with useful info, tips and tricks
1 on 1 lesson (it’s also possible to book with a friend)
What is not included?
Wetsuit (I can arrange one for you)
Transportation to the beach (I can arrange a pickup / we can meet at your local beach)
These are some of the topics that we will cover during a session:
Camera use and settings
Waterhousing use and preparation
Weather forecast / wave forecast / tide check (we will already discuss those before we meet)
Potential hazards / risks in the water
Photography scope / goals for the session
Shooting in the water
